Easy Exercises??? No kidding!
Easy Exercises ---
sounds almost too good to be true, but it isn't. So many of us live such busy lives that we feel we don't have time to exercise. There are more health problems today related to obesity than any other time in history. There are ways to exercise without going to a gym and without taking up so much of your valuable time. Becoming physically fit, even with
easy exercises,
can benefit your health in numerous ways. It can also improve your marriage in various ways as well, especially if you and your spouse workout together.
You should try your best to get at least 30 minutes of some form of exercise daily. You can also use this time to take advantage of spending time with your spouse and opening up more communication. For example, take a hike through the woods or ride bikes together. Husbands enjoy it when their wives spend time with them in their outdoor hobbies. Below are some key points in achieving physical activity daily, no matter how busy you are!A - Commit yourself to exercise daily. B - Set short-term and long-term goals. C - Break up your exercise into portions, if necessary. D - Schedule specific times for exercise on your calendar. E - Keep your perspective. F - Recruit your spouse or friends to join you (by walking or
riding bikes together).
G - Be creative and make it fun! There is a lot of information on the web and from books on exercising and diets. One of my very favorites is "

healthy snacks in baggies to keep in your desk drawer instead of candy! 3 - Drink lots of water (plain water-check ingredients). 4 - Take a daily nutritional supplement, such as
Vemma,
which is convenient, complete, and comes in liquid form for better body absorption.
5 - If you don't live far from your job, try walking on nice days. If you live too far to walk, try parking further from the office and get some exercise on the way in and out of work.
6 - Take stairs instead of the elevator when possible.
7 - If your job requires excessive time behind the computer, be sure to take small "stretching" breaks every 30 minutes or so to relieve tension in the neck, shoulders, and back. Stand up and stretch for the sky!
You can even do easy exercises at home without the dread of it "sounding" like exercise. Try out these ideas!
1 - After returning from grocery shopping, take one bag at a time into the house.
2 - Start a hobby that will get you moving and motivated.
3 - Walk with spouse, neighbors, or talk the dog for a walk.
4 - View the household chores like vacuuming or dusting as a chance to exercise.
5 - Turn off that TV and wash the car instead!
6 - Turn on the radio and dance with your spouse or kids. This is a great cardio workout if you listen to upbeat music!
7 - Learn a new active sport or join a local group.
